The long-awaited move to our new location at 33 Greenhill, Blackwell is taking place this week. And our team is excited!
The renovated premises will be known as the ‘Innovation Campus’ and house the entire i3 Group, which includes LineView Solutions, OptimumFX Consulting and Bytronic Automation. ‘Innovation Campus’ is inspired by our group’s focus of delivering manufacturing improvement through innovation and expertise.
Our Co-founder, Ian Rowledge, shares the origins of the Campus, “It really all started with our Vision 2025 exercise where the entire team dreamed and conceptualized our future. From a management standpoint, we followed through on our commitment with the purchase and renovation of this wonderful location. This is a proud accomplishment, which not only includes the building but the entire culture of our company.”
Our Co-founder, John Dunlop, adds, “We have always been proud of our accomplishments and there have been many since we started. We have new products in the making and new client installations worldwide, but this new facility, with state-of-the-art conference facilities, recreation areas and so much more, is now topping the list.”
The actual structure is a Victorian-era building which has been renovated by the Shaylor Group to fit our needs. Workplace Group carried out the interior design while Haley Marketing was responsible for interior branding. The technology setup of the new Campus was led by Coodart.
Our team has to give a shout out to Samantha Rushton, Office Manager, and Simon Coleman, General Manager, who have been leading the renovation project since day one. Tip of the hat to them both.
This building has been expanded and completely transformed with all the intricacies and design that our team dared to dream. There are numerous types of workspaces, quiet space, kitchen, gym and so much more. It has been modernized and wired with twenty miles of cable and yet the exterior design has stayed sympathetic to the past of the building. The new location offers three floors of unique space that has been expanded to over 9,300 square feet.
Simon explains, ‘The goal of the project was to have a workplace that fosters original thinking and the result is definitely a one of a kind location that truly fits the new name of ‘Innovation Campus.”
The team at LineView will be welcoming business visitors as usual but for grand showings, we will take it a step at a time. In September, we will host a Family Day for employees and plans are in place for hosting a ‘Made in the Midlands’ breakfast in November.
