Breaking Ground on our New Offices & Vision2025

To get where we want to go as a company, we engaged all staff, imagined what could be, dreamed a little and then set our Vision2025 in place. At the top of the “Do First” list was to own a business property suited to our needs and expandable for our growing business.

Well away we go! Starting today, Monday, February 5th, work on our new office begins. Everyone knows what it’s like to move into a new home. The excitement is already building as we break ground. We could bring in the old saying that “a change is as good as a rest” or maybe even develop a new one like “new surroundings, new ideas”, but whatever the case, we will soon be moving.

Nearby to where our offices are currently located, we will be refurbishing a Victorian-era building for our new corporate offices, which will house all three divisions of our i3 Group.

Now, when I say ‘we’ will be refurbishing, I must clarify that the work is not being done by our staff – although I am sure we would all look quite industrious with hard hat and hammer! The renovations will be carried out by the Shaylor Group. With a home base in the Midlands, their list of awards and achievements include environmental considerations, best use of technology, best contractor to work for, best in quality, project of the year and many, many more.

Our director and company co-founder Ian Rowledge had this to add about the project; “Our Vision2025 prescribed offices that are an inspiring place to work with optimal functionality and a fresh open workplace that fosters original thinking. I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate our commitment to the vision than breaking ground on this plan for our new home office.”

From common areas and a juice bar, to an in-house chef and gym – what a home office it will be!  We will be modernizing the building for sure, but with a design that is sympathetic to the past of the building and the majestic location that offers views of the Malvern Hills. (For those of you unfamiliar, the Hills have been designated a Biological and Geological Site of Special Scientific Interest and as National Character Area 103 by Natural England)

There’s plenty of parking for visitors, so we look forward to see you there!

(Pst. In order to keep you updated on the progress we will be offering some time-lapse photography on occasion so stay tuned for updates on our social channels.)
