Account Executive – North America
Position Overview
As a Software Sales Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth within the North America region. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and effectively communicating the value of LineView’s software solutions. Your efforts will directly impact our expansion in the Americas and contribute to our mission of helping manufacturing companies achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
1. Prospecting and Business Development
- Identify and research potential clients within the relevant manufacturing sectors in the American region and Caribbean nations. CPG, FMCG, Beverages and Food industries.
- Conduct outreach and engage in consultative conversations to understand their current operational challenges and pain points.
- Utilize market insights and industry knowledge to articulate the value of LineView’s software solutions in addressing specific manufacturing needs.
2. Relationship Building and Client Engagement
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers at target manufacturing companies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ unique requirements and tailoring solutions to match their goals.
- Proactively engage with clients to maintain regular communication, provide updates on industry trends, and offer insights into how LineView’s solutions can drive continuous improvement.
3. Solution Presentation and Demonstration
- Develop a deep understanding of LineView’s software offerings and their applicability to various manufacturing scenarios.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the features, functionality, and benefits of LineView’s solutions.
- Clearly articulate the ROI and value proposition of the software, aligning it with the client’s specific business use cases and operational goals.
4. Strategic Account Planning
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, marketing, and customer success, to create comprehensive strategic account plans.
- Collaborate with the Account Director- Mexico to support those ownerships that have operations in both territories, to ensure consistent customer service.
- Define clear objectives, timelines, and milestones for each account, considering the client’s manufacturing processes, production goals, and potential growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to navigate complex sales cycles, address objections, and position LineView’s solutions as transformative tools.
5. Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation
- Create detailed and tailored proposals that outline the customized solution, implementation process, and expected outcomes.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure the proposal aligns with the client’s needs and aligns with LineView’s capabilities.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements, ensuring a win-win scenario that satisfies both the client and LineView’s business objectives.
6. Market Insights and Industry Expertise
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and challenges in the manufacturing sector, particularly related to production optimization, OEE, and technology adoption.
- Position LineView as a thought leader by sharing industry insights, best practices, and success stories during client interactions and engagements.
- Leverage your industry expertise to anticipate client needs, provide valuable recommendations, and position LineView’s solutions as a strategic enabler.
7. Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
- Regularly analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline progress, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide timely and insightful reports to sales leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing sales strategies.
8. Client Onboarding and Transition
- Collaborate with the implementation and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to solution deployment.
- Facilitate effective communication between the client and internal teams, ensuring client expectations are managed and met throughout the onboarding process.
9. Networking and Industry Events
- Actively participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand LineView’s presence and generate leads.
- Engage in relevant online forums, discussion groups, and social media platforms to build relationships and share LineView’s thought leadership content.
10. Continuous Learning and Skill Development
- Stay updated on LineView’s product enhancements, new releases, and software capabilities through ongoing training and development.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of manufacturing processes, OEE concepts, and emerging technologies to provide expert insights to clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proventrack record of success in software sales, with a focus on solution-oriented selling to industrial clients in the Americas. (CPG, FMCG, Beverages).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in selling manufacturing software solutions, particularly in the field of production optimization or OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Ability to build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their challenges and aligning solutions to their needs.
- Results-driven with a proactive and persistent approach to achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the Americas region as needed.
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
