Job Title: Application Support Apprentice

Reports to: Application Support Manager

Direct Reports: None

Working relationship: Application Support Analysts, Software Services – Product Owners / Development

Main Purpose:

Monitor customer servers and upgrades including server audits. Support the team to carry out minor customer application and system fixes.  Handle set up of physical and virtual hardware

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor our Azure cloud data platform and Real Time Dashboards, reporting to the team any customer outages and be involved in supporting fixes
  • Monitor Software Upgrades, confirm success of automatic updates and where needed run manual upgrades
  • Using images to set up physical / Virtual hardware, change IP addresses and server settings
  • VPN onto customer sites to carry out server audits and minor application fixes
  • Learn knowledge of LineView Product Suite from set up to customer usage
  • Update and test knowledge base documentation

  • 5 GCSE’s

Office based with some remote working.
